The Music Therapy Charity funds essential and pioneering research which supports the growth and reputation of the profession
The Music Therapy Charity (MTC) helps make music therapy training more accessible by offering bursaries to Masters students facing financial challenges. These bursaries support essential costs like travel, therapy sessions, childcare, and equipment—making a real difference in students’ lives and learning.
We also provide annual small grants of up to £1,500 for music therapists to undertake original research – those funds can help pay for staffing, supervision or collection and analysis of data. We fund a smaller number of large projects, up to £20,000 – please sign up to our mailing list if you want to hear more.
