The Charity will also continue with its grant giving activities for training and Doctoral Research.
The MTC is re-launching itself as a major fund-raising organisation: For the next 2 years it has selected Disenchanted Youth as its focus for research and intervention. The aim is for Music Therapists, working with like-minded charities in a multi-disciplinary environment, to improve life opportunities for the young people in the projects. They will support learning, inspire development and improve the emotional well being of those young people living in the inner cities, who at present are alienated from their peers, family and society.
